Suzy Evans made an impressive run for city controller in '09, demonstrating that a willingness to get out there and work does pay off. While she may not have won that election, she did make great strides as a relatively unknown, pulling ahead of Nick Patsaouras whose name had been in the media lime light for many years. Now running for the senate seat of the 20th district, she will be someone to watch in the November elections.
